Middle - End Zone..

During this past year w

ith encouragement from overseers here at AIM, I have become more involved with Crown Financial Ministries and the study of Biblical Financial principles. As I continue to put them into practice in my own life, I am now able to share them with others.

In fact, in September, during the largest summer training camp AIM has had, I was asked to do the financial training sessions.
There were about 160 participants, between our First Year Missionaries and our 2007 World Race Team members.
  I held sessions on
General Finances for Missionaries, Accountability, Stewardship, and Budgeting.
It was a great opportunity to share not just the standard financial foundations but also God’s Principles on finances.
Reality shows that how we handle finances is a big part of our witness for Jesus Christ.
It was also a great opportunity for me to get to know some of the missionaries face to face.

In June, I added water skiing to my favorite activities.
Although my skiing season was shortened by a knee injury in July, I am making a comeback and will be ready to go again next summer.
Other activities I am blessed to enjoy include bike riding, tennis, an occasional round of golf, many long walks and hiking.
I am continually amazed at the beauty God has surrounded me with here and each time I participate in an outdoor activity the peace and serenity I receive is amazing.

August, September and the first part of October included: a mission project in West Virginia, staff conference at Camp Pinnacle here in Georgia, a visit from my parents in September, and an unexpected trip to Ohio in October.
The trip to Ohio was to be with family following the unexpected death of my Uncle.
It was the day after I said goodbye to Lucky.

In the office, we closed another busy year on September 30.
This past year kept everyone here at AIM busy as we sent 5725 youth and 1073 adults on 7-10 day mission trips all over the world. Of those 6798 participants, 2762 of them answered God’s call to serve in New Orleans.
High School and College students also answered God’s call to go into all the world as 136 high school students went on 1 month trips around the world and 90 college students went on 9-12 week trips all over the world.
Eighty-six College students participated in our First Year Missionary program ministering for 9-months in either Mexico, New Zealand, England, Kenya, Swaziland or South Africa.

It continues to be a privilege to have a small part in helping lives change around the world all for the glory of God.
With out your prayers and support this would not be possible.
  Thank you.
